It takes a community to bring up the people that live in it, and when the time comes, we find ourselves looking to a few special people to serve those who can’t serve themselves, that is the work of Hope Street.

Hope Street is an NPO based in Cape Town, that serves bread and soup to over 100 homeless people every Saturday between 9h30 and 11h30 in Greenpoint. Apart from helping get the homeless off the streets, our main purpose is to empower them with sustainable employment opportunities.

The HS team consists of Gerald (Chairperson), Jaco (Vice-Chairperson), Yoricq (Finance), Alan (Secretary) and Shedi (Legal). Since 2016 we have been building close relations within the homeless community and can do so much more with your help. We rely solely on donations and are hoping you can be generous enough to help us help the homeless. Please consider a donation to our cause.
