The eduCate Matric Mathematics and Physical Science Revision Programme uses the Grade 11 year end results, the preparatory examination results and the final NSC examination results to measure the impact of the intervention.
In 2021, pre testing and post testing was introduced to provide more immediate and focused feedback. The advantage of the pre testing and post testing is that it helps to provide a more controlled impact assessment. While it is not possible to entirely discount the contribution of other inputs, such as SIPPS programmes, televised tutorials and on line interventions; since these tests were taken within the span of three weeks, it is reasonable to conclude that the primary means of revision to which the learners were exposed during that time was the eduCate Matric Mathematics and Physical Science Revision Programme.
