QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Matric
  • Min 3-year warehousing/logistics related qualification at NQF level 5.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

· Have knowledge of Shipshape systems.

· 5 years related experience in the clearing and forwarding industry in an Airfreight import controlling capacity.

  • Develop reports in SQL Server Reporting Services.

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Provide Hardware support on all Corporate Hardware e.g. PC’s, Mobile Worker Warehouse & Scanners and other peripheral devices.
  • Provide Software support on all corporate software e.g. Compu-Clearing, Lotus Notes & all Microsoft products.
  • Support on local and wide area networks.
  • Support and update anti –virus protection inclusive of In-houses PC’s.
  • Ensure all Servers are operational maintaining and up time of 99%.
  • Ensure all servers are backed up daily, and system restores are tested monthly.
  • Ensure all In-house PC’s are backed up monthly. Escalate any failures to the IT team leader.
  • Pro-active management of all systems prints queues, these include open spool, and VPS and LAN print queues.
  • Co-ordinate with Customer and IT team leader to find downtime slots for upgrades and maintenance.
  • Resolutions and escalation of IT incidents are formally reported to IT Infra Manager.
  • Ensure change control procedure are adhered to and enforced in conjunction with Corporate IT.
  • Ensure all corporate standards are adhered to.
  • Ensure legality of all software loaded on PC’s.
  • Ensure user’s backup all business data residing on their PC’s.

CHIEF HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER (PE)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Matric
  • A post graduate Degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Post Graduate business programme at NQF level 7.
  • Registration with SABPP as a Chartered HR Practitioner.
  • Legal qualification e.g. LLB would be an added advantage.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 10 years management experience in Human Resources in a medium to large sized organization, with at least 3 years performed at an executive level.
  • Sound Knowledge of current Human Resources management practices.
  • Experience of working in HR, within a large/medium and fast paced commercial matrix environment.
  • Sound knowledge of BCEA, EE, LRA, OHSA, SDA & BBBEE.
  • Current Remuneration Management theory and practice.
  • Current Labour Relations Management and Labour Law theory and practice.

IMPORT CONTROLLER (RICHARDS BAY)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Matric
  • 1 year freight forwarding related qualification at NQF level 3 and 4.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Have specialist knowledge of freight forwarding and clearing documents, procedures and practices gained through at least 3 years related experience in Seafreight/Airfreight Import controlling capacity.
  • Customs and other statutory body cargo clearance procedure.
  • National currencies and international codes.
